kemarin saya sudah share Linux Mint 17, tetapi masih dalam tahap pengembangan, alias belum versi final.nah saat ini saya akan share yang sudah versi final menurut situs resmi Linux Mintnya. Linux mint 17 cinnamon berjalan di atas DE cinnamon v 2.2 dan mate 1.8. Linux mint 17 merupakan turunan dari Ubuntu 14.04 LTS, sehingga akan di support hingga tahun 2019

- The sreensaver now shows the date and time.
- Clicking the middle mouse on the volume applet now toggles mute.
- The sticky note applet was given the ability to "undo".

Strategi Long Term Support:
- Linux Mint 17 akan menerima update keamanan sampai 2019.
- Sampai tahun 2016, versi Linux Mintyang akan datang akan menggunakan basis paket yang sama seperti Linux Mint 17, sehingga mudah bagi kita untuk meng-upgrade.
- Sampai tahun 2016, tim pengembangan tidak akan mulai bekerja pada sebuah basis baru dan akan sepenuhnya fokus pada yang satu ini.
